And then there’s the Z3, which started called a purist “model to the year guys for fatter margins, morphing into the overweight, retractable hardtop Z4. Where, one wonders, the BMW rival to the Porsche Boxster and Audi TT? Maybe not so far away. There is no decision, but if we type the Bavarian grapevine, we found tantalizing hints of a BMW sports car revival.
